Toys in the attic es el tercer álbum por la banda de hard rock americana Aerosmith. Fue su primer álbum popular considerado como un firme clasico del rock. El nombre del álbum es una frase similar a "Bats in the belfry" y también fue usado como nombre del show de Lillian Hellman en vivo en 1959 . En 1963, la película Toys in the attic hizo su debut, dirigida por George Roy Hill, con las estrellas Dean Martin, Geraldine Page y Wendy Hiller.
En el año 2003, el álbum alcanzo la posición 228 en la lista de los 500 mejores álbumes de rock de todos los tiempos, lista hecha por la revista Rolling Stone.
